- Visual IP InSight is used by various broadband Internet Service Providers (ISP), and also busness enterprises, to periodically test network connections to aid in managing network services. Visual IP InSight works over all TCP/IP network connections including dialup, broadband (DSL/cable/wireless/ISDN), or VPN. Visual IP InSight does transmit connection information and basic computer setup information which can be viewed in the Call Log under the Visual IP InSight directory. Visual IP InSight may be considered undesirable because it shares information with external sources. Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Digital Subscription Line (DSL), Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), Virtual Private Network (VPN).
